PBO's Monthly Macroeconomic Review reflects the trends of major macroeconomic variables. The review is based on data from Geostat, National Bank of Georgia and Ministry of Finance.
In the reporting period, the major variables dynamics were:
- According to preliminary estimates, economic growth amounted to 6.0% in March and 4.7% in January-March
- Annual inflation reached 4.1 % in April
- In January-march, export of goods was highest compared to previous years.
- In April, GEL depreciated against USD (by 0.4%), but rose against EUR (by 0.3%) MoM
